WAR TALK

BATTLE Of TARANTO

By Steve Chinocka This talk was on Sept 19th 2011 and took place at B24 Marcus Rd Dunkeswell and was very well attended. Sadly we lost our usual venue after The Royal British Legion Club closed at Honiton last year.

Because of the unsuitability of B24 Marcus rd as a winter venue our in house talks have been temporally suspended. We are still seeking an alternative venue.

Our out of house talks continue and we already have some bookings for 2012 including the Exeter Local History Day, Saturday March 3rd this is being held in conjunction with the Westcountry Studies Library in the adjoining music/lecture room (part of the Central Library) Our subject is RAF Exeter during WWII just one of four talks on different subjects taking place that day

For information contact Steve 01404 4611 8 or Arthur 07773 160739
